Atwood Rope's ultra-robust BattleCord is the big brother of the 550 paracord and is manufactured according to the same concept and construction.
It features a robust outer sheath with 7 inner strands of a true static core that can be pulled out for additional rope if needed. Each inner strand of the BattleCord is tested to a tensile strength of 158 kg, resulting in a total tensile strength of 1202 kg.
The lightweight, low-stretch BattleCord won't rot when exposed to water, is mildew-resistant, and won't fray from UV radiation. BattleCord is perfect for most applications requiring an extremely durable rope. It's designed to support you in the toughest situations, from everyday life and outdoor adventures to survival and emergency situations.
