The Berghaus FLT Ares 25 IR is a modular, universal tactical backpack with intelligent solutions for storing all your personal belongings. Even more so when using FLT accessories. This backpack focuses on high carrying comfort and modularity.
The spacious main compartment and the padded front compartment are accessible from the top via two-way zippers. The main compartment zipper also features lockable zipper pulls (lock not included) to protect the contents from unauthorized access.

The main compartment features a padded 15-inch laptop sleeve and two side cable/hydration tube ports. The fully padded front compartment has two fleece-lined slip pockets and a zippered mesh pocket. The numerous ACH attachment points allow the de Ares 25 to be flexibly adapted to specific missions using the separately available FLT accessory pouches. With its padded back panel featuring a ventilation channel and wide, ergonomically shaped shoulder straps, the backpack offers excellent carrying comfort, even when worn over vests and plate carriers.

The FIGHT LIGHT PACK SYSTEM (FLT) is the latest development in the Berghaus Tactical range of load-carrying systems. The development of this lightweight load-carrying system (LCS) contributes to a higher level of soldier performance without sacrificing the essential features and comfortable load transfer for which Berghaus Tactical LCS are known. FLT backpacks can be customized to specific missions and tasks with a wide range of intelligent accessories. Side pockets in various sizes, functional pouches, internal organizer pads, and stash packs make the FLT range a comprehensive LCS. All accessories feature Accessory Connector Hooks (ACH). ACHs are specially designed, hardened aluminum hooks that allow for quick attachment and removal of accessories. With the ACH system, users are no longer limited to using the side pocket zippers solely for attaching pouches. The interior of the FLT backpacks features webbing loops for integrating a functional organizer or radio pad. FLT is a big step forward for user agility.

The FLT Ares 25 IR is made of CORDURA 560 DTEX, a 560 denier polyamide 6.6 Cordura that meets the stringent requirements of the German Armed Forces TL 8305-0278 standard, including high-end infrared protection (IRR 600 to 850 nm / approx. 12 pt.). All buckles, webbing, and hook-and-loop fasteners also meet the German Armed Forces' requirements regarding IRR camouflage effectiveness.
