berghaus Munro II IR Daypack 35L cedar olive
Volume: 35 liters
Dimensions: approx. 52 x 30 x 18 cm
Weight: approx. 1,000 g
The Munro II IR is a robust daypack manufactured by Berghaus and is the further development of the Munro. The biggest change is in the material, which has been woven more robustly using a new process. It also has a storage capacity of 35 liters. It offers comfortable carrying thanks to a back panel reinforced with an aluminum stay.
This version uses an IR-shielding material to make it more difficult to detect with night-vision goggles. The IR power in the 600 to 850 nm spectrum is approximately 12 percentage points.
In addition to the main compartment, there is a lid pocket for storing extra gear. Two compression straps are sewn onto each side to cinch everything tightly, even when the backpack is only partially full. A drawstring with an elastic band allows for quickly tucking away jackets or other light clothing.

The Berghaus story began in 1966 when an English mountaineering couple founded the outdoor equipment store LD Mountain Center. Over time, Berghaus designed, tested, and sold its own gear based on the actual needs of mountaineers. Today, the brand is among the very best outdoor equipment manufacturers. Production for the army began during the Falklands War, when the British Army needed a backpack for specific conditions.
