The SMPS Crusader SMPS 90+20 II WS-FA is a large (sniper) tactical backpack specifically designed for transporting long guns. The backpack features a height-adjustable and compressible weapon compartment spanning the entire back length, allowing for the transport of long guns or weapon bags, such as the SMPS DragBag Long or the SMPS Weapon Bags.
The weapon compartment is padded on the front and back and can be compressed using side straps. The top of the compartment is open, while the bottom features an approximately 38 cm extension that can be folded inwards to accommodate the weapon or weapon bag.
The SMPS Crusader 90+20 II WS-FA features a height-adjustable carrying system based on the tried-and-tested Cyclops II system, specifically designed for heavy loads. The aluminum alloy frame ensures excellent load transfer efficiency. The ergonomically designed hip belt with hip wings is comfortably padded and prevents the pack from shifting. The ergonomically shaped back panel with ventilation channels provides optimal support and good contact with the pack, while still allowing sufficient freedom of movement even when fully loaded. The load control straps, comfortable shoulder straps, sternum strap, and lid height are all adjustable for a perfect fit.

The Berghaus story began in 1966 when an English mountaineering couple founded the outdoor equipment store LD Mountain Center. Over time, Berghaus designed, tested, and sold its own gear based on the actual needs of mountaineers. Today, the brand is among the very best outdoor equipment manufacturers. Production for the army began during the Falklands War, when the British Army needed a backpack for specific conditions.
