The newly designed Hallagan tool heads made of hardened stainless steel have friction grooves on all contact surfaces that run counter to the head. These counter-rotating friction ribs are specially designed to ensure a secure grip on the breaking surfaces and ensure stability during breaking work and prevent the tool from slipping.

The solid fiberglass handle is electrically non-conductive up to 100,000 volts AC and has safety handles that prevent the user's hands from slipping into the working ends of the pole.
