The BK-ACH-HC from Šestan-Busch is a ballistic high-cut version of the ACH helmet that meets all military specifications for ballistics, impact and deformation. This lightweight helmet weighs 12% less than a conventional ACH helmet, mainly due to the elimination of the ear cover for better hearing localization and better compatibility with communication headsets.

The special EBSP manufacturing process offers a high level of protection against all types of fragments, shrapnel and projectiles. The helmet and its parts are resistant to all weather conditions.

The 9-piece memory foam padding set offers optimal protection against impacts or dull blows. The 4-point fastening of the harness ensures an optimal fit and comfort. The RD adjustment system (Ratchet Dial) allows the harness to be easily adjusted with one hand in a matter of seconds.

It has an NVG mount on the front, side Picatinny rail system and Velcro surfaces for attaching additional equipment.

Protection level NIJ Level IIIA according to NIJ 0106.01:

  • Cal. 9mm Parabellum 124 gr. FMJ, 436 ± 9m/s
  • Cal. .44 Magnum 240 gr. LSWCGC 436 ± 9m/s

Splinter protection:

  • v50≥ 650 m/s (Test projectile: .22 Caliber, 1.1g +/- 0.03g (17 gr.) (FSP))
