The Expedition Cover Gore is a classic bivouac sack – completely waterproof and breathable. The zip-in-zip system allows you to zip your sleeping bag inside the bivouac sack. Getting in and out remains as easy and comfortable as with a sleeping bag without a cover. The PU-coated bottom ensures 100% waterproof protection.
The CARINTHIA bivouac sack system with Gore-Tex® gas-permeable technology is a waterproof and windproof multifunctional layer with perfect properties for all activities in wet terrain and rain. The unique Gore-Tex® laminate is not only extremely breathable but also oxygen and carbon dioxide permeable (ambient air). This means it is possible to create a completely enclosed, waterproof and windproof environment for sleeping in adverse weather conditions. The system's air permeability has been tested down to a depth of 1 meter of snow.
