ISG stands for "Insulated Shell Garment." It's a multifunctional jacket originally developed for military special operations. The fusion of the softshell outer shell with G-LOFT® insulation makes the Carinthia ISG jacket a true "hybrid." The excellent heat retention capacity of the G-LOFT® fiber and the water-repellent, windproof, and breathable properties of the 3-layer softshell outer shell give this jacket its distinctive character.
G-LOFT® insulation combines the advantages of natural down with the durability of synthetic fibers. And it does so permanently. Thanks to its "memory effect," G-LOFT® insulation always returns to its uniquely warming original shape, even after frequent washing and the toughest conditions. G-LOFT® thus guarantees optimal thermal insulation and climate control in outdoor activities.
