The CARINTHIA Observer Plus tent is the perfect bivouac tent for snipers, with self-standing double pole support. The two circular tent poles form a kind of dome at the head end, which offers the user enough space to store the equipment. The Observer Plus has a slightly sloping line from the head area to the end of the foot. This is to prevent you from being easily recognized/discovered.
The L-shaped opening makes it easy to get in and out, and the bivouac tent is closed with two zippers. All zippers are protected by a specially designed storm flap. The front allows an observation area of 180° and can be completely closed in bad weather. A rifle and/or telescope can still be brought into position through the observation slot that remains free.
Both the observation slot and the entrance opening are equipped with a mosquito net. The insulating mat can be fixed using five integrated loops on the back.
The CARINTHIA bivouac bag systems with Gore-Tex® gas-permeable technology is a waterproof and windproof multifunctional layer with perfect properties for all activities in wet terrain and in the rain. The unique Gore-Tex® laminate is not only extremely breathable, but also permeable to oxygen and carbon dioxide (ambient air). This means it is possible to create a completely enclosed water and windproof environment for sleeping in adverse weather conditions. The air permeability of the system was tested to a depth of 1 m of snow.
