The CARINTHIA Observer Plus tent is the perfect bivouac tent for snipers, featuring a self-supporting double-pole system. The two circular tent poles form a dome at the head end, providing ample space for the user to store their equipment. The Observer Plus has a slightly sloping design from the head to the foot end, intended to reduce the risk of being easily spotted.
The L-shaped opening makes entry and exit easy, and the bivouac tent is closed with two zippers. All zippers are protected by a specially designed storm flap. The front provides a 180° field of view and can be completely closed in bad weather. A rifle and/or telescope can still be positioned through the remaining viewing slit.
Both the observation slit and the entrance opening are equipped with a mosquito net. The insulating mat can be secured using five integrated loops on the back.
The CARINTHIA bivouac sack system with Gore-Tex® gas-permeable technology is a waterproof and windproof multifunctional layer with perfect properties for all activities in wet terrain and rain. The unique Gore-Tex® laminate is not only extremely breathable but also oxygen and carbon dioxide permeable (ambient air). This means it is possible to create a completely enclosed, waterproof and windproof environment for sleeping in adverse weather conditions. The system's air permeability has been tested down to a depth of 1 meter of snow.
