The Carinthia SOF 2 mummy sleeping bag from the “Fast & Light” product series is designed as a versatile all-rounder that meets the demanding requirements of special forces for mobility and adaptability.
Equipped with two layers of G-LOFT® insulation totaling 190g/m², this sleeping bag offers a comfort limit of 0°C and remains reliably usable even near freezing. Weighing only 1,139g and with a compact pack size of 28x18 cm, the SOF 2 was specifically designed for missions where every gram counts and space in your pack is crucial.
The centrally located zipper of the SOF 2 prevents cold spots when combined with the other models in the series, SOF 1 and SOF 3, to cover a wide temperature range. The SOF 2 scores points with its efficient thermal performance. It also features large, free-running zippers for quick exit. Here too, the innovative color-coded cording with hook-and-loop fasteners is used, making it easy to quickly identify and select the right sleeping bag for any mission.
The close-fitting, mummy-style cut optimizes thermal efficiency while minimizing the required volume, making the SOF 2 an ideal midrange sleeping bag. It not only offers excellent sleeping comfort in common temperature ranges, but also, thanks to its expandability with the SOF 1 and 3 models, extremely high flexibility for quickly adapting to changing conditions.
Included in the delivery are a suitable packing sack and a storage bag to simplify storage.
