Specifically designed for use where reliability in harsh weather conditions is essential, whether in military operations or demanding outdoor adventures, the Carinthia SOF 3 mummy sleeping bag is the first choice for extreme cold. It is the most robust member of the "Fast & Light" series and offers unsurpassed warmth and protection even under extreme weather conditions.
Equipped with three layers of 85g/m² G-LOFT® insulation, totaling 275g/m², this sleeping bag guarantees excellent thermal properties with a comfort limit of -8.0°C. Even in extreme temperatures down to -26.0°C, the SOF 3 offers reliable protection. Despite its impressive insulation capacity, the SOF 3 remains compact with a pack size of 19x25 cm and a weight of 1969g, making it easy to transport and store. The two-way zipper, featuring large, user-friendly pulls and a snag guard, prevents the zipper from getting caught and makes it easy to use.
The "Fast & Light" series was developed with the ever-increasing size and weight of special forces equipment in mind. Focusing on weight and space savings, the sleeping bags in this series allow special forces to prepare for unpredictable deployment durations – from a few hours to several days. Thanks to the innovative color-coded system, which incorporates hook-and-loop fasteners for quick identification, the sleeping bags can be selected rapidly when needed. These hook-and-loop fasteners can also be used as name or ID patches within units.
As part of the "Fast & Light" series, the SOF 3 can be perfectly combined with the other models to enable comprehensive coverage of a wide range of temperature ranges. This modular system offers not only individual adaptability but also the assurance of being optimally equipped for every mission.
Temperature range: Comfort -2°C; Comfort limit -8°C; Extreme -26°C (Temperature specifications according to ISO 23537-1, EN 13537).
