The Field Short was specially designed for use in hot climatic conditions and thus achieves the balancing act between comfort and functionality. It also has the tried and tested waist width adjustment - this can be perfectly adapted to the body with an elastic band to ensure better comfort and absorb movements. The integrated thigh pockets offer enough storage space for utensils and also have a compartment for smartphones - quick access is possible even with gloves. A small compartment on the outside of the thigh is designed to store a knife or pistol magazine.

The Field Short comes with other useful functions:
The waistband is optimized for the use of rigger & safety belts as well as suspenders and offers a high level of comfort due to its light padding. Documents (such as a passport) can be stored in a hidden inside pocket on the back of the trousers. The trousers still offer the necessary robustness and reduced NIR signature (not valid for MultiCam Polycotton) to survive even under adverse operating conditions. Only zippers from 'YKK' and high-quality sewing thread are used in production. The main seams are sewn using a three-needle stitch and are therefore triple secured; many heavily stressed areas are double secured with bartack seams.
