Infrared glow sticks work like any other glow stick, the only difference is that instead of producing a specific color, they glow in a light spectrum that is not visible to the human eye. They can therefore only be detected with the help of night vision devices. This property opens up a variety of possible uses, such as marking buildings and rooms, identifying friends/enemies and laying tracks. IR glow sticks can be detected with night vision devices of all generations.

The Clawgear 6 inch glow stick is a cost-effective and battery-independent light source. Each glow stick consists of a bendable plastic container which is filled with two non-toxic chemicals, one of these chemicals is in an ampoule to only start this chemical process when the glow stick is needed. To activate the glow stick, all you have to do is bend it and then shake it. This breaks the ampoule open and the two chemicals mix. The chemical process that now begins causes a bright glow, without any heat, flame or sparks. No batteries or lamps are required.

The glow stick is completely non-toxic and can be disposed of with household waste after use.
