- The increased braking effect of the new device geometry supports the belayer in catching the fall in lead climbing mode
- Faster rope payout in lead climbing by operating with thumb loop
- Additional eyelet for unlocking the device in follow-on mode using a carabiner
- Suitable for securing the person climbing in front, one or two people climbing behind and for abseiling
- Robust construction made of abrasion-resistant stainless steel and minimal weight due to optimal shape
