The Helikon Bandicoot Waist Pack is a medium-sized bum bag that offers a range of unique features in an unobtrusive design. It has space for all everyday essentials such as a wallet, smartphone, first aid kit, snacks or gloves. The spacious main compartment has a removable organizer with three flat pockets and five elastic bands. Two external zipped pockets allow for even distribution of the load. The two-way zip allows easy access to the main compartment from both sides. Several elastic bands allow the backpack to be quickly integrated into any MOLLE/PALS system. There is a Velcro fastener on the external pocket for attaching patches.
The removable hip belt has a G-hook and a quick release fastener. There is a hole behind the back pocket that allows the fanny pack to be attached to a belt and worn as a belt bag.
