Der Helikon-Tex Poncho ist wasserdicht und aus Rip-Stop Polyester hergestellt. Er ist umsäumt mit Druckknöpfen, sodass zwei Ponchos zusammengeknüpft werden können um einen Unterstand oder ähnliches zu bauen. Zusammengelegt nimmt er lediglich eine Größe von 14 x 22 cm ein und kann sicher in einem mitgelieferten Kompressionssack verstaut werden. Weiterhin hat er eine verstellbare Kapuze, welche sich mit einem Kordanzug sichern lässt.
