Der Helikon Signal Mirror ist ein kleiner Rettungsspiegel, der so konstruiert ist, dass man das von ihm reflektierte Sonnenlicht auf große Entfernungen richten kann. Die Reflexion von Licht über kurze Entfernungen ist einfach, solange man es auf einem Baum oder einer Wand sehen kann. Auf große Entfernungen kann ein gewöhnlicher Spiegel diese Präzision nicht erreichen.
Der Signalspiegel hat eine spezielle Öffnung, die wie ein Kollimator funktioniert. So können Sie das reflektierte Licht auf größere Entfernungen ausrichten. Im Notfall können Sie mit einem SOS-Signal um Hilfe rufen, indem Sie ein Schiff oder ein Flugzeug anvisieren. Die Sichtbarkeit hängt von Sonnenlicht, Wetter und Gelände ab, aber bei guten Bedingungen ist das reflektierte Licht sogar aus mehreren Kilometern Entfernung zu sehen. Auf der Rückseite des Signal Mirror befinden sich eine Anleitung und ein kleiner Kompass.

Building our own Research&Development department, based on true professionals in their field, we started to design modern and specialized solutions for advanced practitioners and hobbyists in the military, shooting sports and outdoor activities.
