What makes Urban Tactical Pants® so special? The cut and pocket layout used in these pants remains civil enough to maintain anonymity while maintaining the full functionality of combat pants designed to be used tactically - while at the same time not clashing with human anatomy. Elastic waistband closed with Velcro allows for easy adjustment. Wide belt loops allow for a belt up to 50 mm wide, including all HTX tactical belts: EDC, UTL® or Cobras®.
Judicious placement of pockets allows equipment to be placed near the center mass, around the hips and waist. Front and back pocket edges are reinforced to prevent constant movement of light or knife clips. Two Velcro-closed front pockets are large enough to carry a smartphone - or even an AR/AK weapon magazine. The zippered thigh pockets look flat - but the design allows bags or purses to be carried with ease. Custom-made interior pockets wait to be filled with Low Profile Protective Pads®. Three types of fabric and a wide range of colors allow the pants to be adapted to the rest of the wardrobe or to work conditions.

As a military surplus-retailer company, Helikon-Tex was established in Poland in 1983 and kept its direction, maturing as a company and gathering experience for over a decade.In the late 90', when the growing mismatch between current military gear solutions and the new challenges awaiting a modern-day soldier became obvious, Grzegorz Mieszczak, the owner of the company, decided to develop up-to-date military and paramilitary lines of clothing and gear.1999 was a milestone in the formation of Helikon-Tex as a producer and a brand itself.
