The Helikon UTS (Urban Tactical Shorts) has a civilian cut and a variety of practical pockets. The elastic belt with velcro allows a certain degree of adjustment within the size. Large belt loops allow wide belts to be worn.
By cleverly arranging the pockets, equipment can be stored near the center of the body, around the hips and waist. The edges of the front and back pockets are reinforced to withstand the constant movement of flashlight and knife clips. Two Velcro-closing front pockets are large enough to carry a smartphone or even an AR/AK rifle magazine. The zipped pockets on the thighs may look flat, but are designed to easily carry bags or wallets.
