Whenever a light, warming layer is needed and fleece isn't up to the task, the Wolfhound from Helikon is the first choice. This lightweight jacket is designed as an insulating layer to be worn either alone or combined with an outer layer. Climashield® Apex™ insulation (same as Level 7 jacket) keeps the user warm in all conditions. It dries quickly when wet. The outer nylon shell is breathable and protects the insulation from damage and light wind and rain. VersaStrech® fabric panels in underarms improve airflow and increase comfort, while cuffs made from the same fabric keep the sleeves closed, keeping warm air in the jacket and preventing wind from cooling the arms. Soft fleece collar lining increases comfort and prevents abrasions. The lower front pockets are lined with fleece. The Wolfhound Jacket is easily compressible and can be packed tightly without losing its insulating properties. The discreet Velcro strip on the left upper sleeve allows for easy personalization. Excellent thermal properties, high breathability, low weight and high compressibility make Wolfhound a perfect all-season garment for all outdoor enthusiasts (and more).
