With its straight, long handle and narrow, straight edge, the Hultafors Stalberg Carpenter's Axe offers excellent precision. Since the axe head has a finger notch on the handle, the axe can be gripped directly above the cutting edge when fine work is to be carried out with the long, thin and straight knife-edge cutting edge.
The axe is hand-forged in the Hults Bruk forge according to their tradition from 1697. The head weighs a nominal 0.8 kg and is made of Swedish CO2-neutral axe steel. The semi-straight cutting edge is finished with a Scandinavian premium grind, polished, razor sharp and ready for use.
The sheath is made in Sweden from hides from Swedish cows and produced with the utmost respect for the animals and the environment. The leather is vegetable tanned full grain leather for the best possible durability. The natural treatment ensures that it ages beautifully with use.
