Katadyn Vario water filter

The Katadyn Vario is a fast, convenient water filter that adapts to any water quality and has a pumping capacity of up to 2 liters per minute. It is ideally suited for 1 to 4 people.

This Katadyn pump filter uses ceramic as a cleanable dirt filter and fiberglass as a microbiological filter with low pump resistance. The ceramic disc can be activated in "LONGER LIFE" mode (approx. 1 l/min) for cloudy water. In "FASTER FLOW" mode (approx. 2 l/min), the fiberglass filter is directly exposed to the flow, increasing the pump output to up to 2 l/min. The replaceable activated carbon granules reduce chemicals and unpleasant tastes.

A dual pump mechanism ensures continuous performance with minimal effort. Replacement filter elements are available individually (ceramic disc, fiberglass filter with activated carbon, activated carbon granules).

Effect: Removes bacteria, protozoa, cysts, algae, spores, and sediment. Reduces bad taste, odor, and chemicals.
