NiteCore Chameleon CU6 with UV LED

The Nitecore CU6 UV LED has 2 main LEDs (white and UV) and 2 secondary LEDs (red, green, blue). The Chameleon's UV LED is particularly notable, as it can be used to detect blood, sweat and other liquids or for other tactical work. The modes are switched using 3 buttons built into the lamp. 5 light levels of the white main light as well as the 3 light levels of the ultraviolet main light and the three colors of the secondary LEDs can be regulated in this way. The LED bulbs used for the white main LED are: CREE XP-G2 (R6).

The light output is a maximum of 440 lumens for the white LED. The wavelength of the ultraviolet LED is 365 nm with a light output of 3000 mW. The housing is made of hard-anodized aluminum and is made from one piece. The reflector is protected by hardened mineral glass with anti-reflective coating on both sides. The flashlight is waterproof up to 2m in accordance with IPX-8 and impact-resistant up to a fall height of 1.5m.

The NiteCore Chameleon CU6 UV can be operated with 1 x 18650 Li-Ion battery, 2 x RCR123 (16340) Li-Ion battery or 2 x CR123A lithium batteries.
