The Nitecore R40 V2 is the successor to the R40 and belongs to Nitecore's Rechargeable series. The R40 V2 can be charged via a USB port or via one of the two charging cradle included. The special thing is that the battery of the R40 V2 is charged in the charging cradle via induction. There are no longer any charging contacts. Compared to its predecessor, the R40, the R40 V2 is powered by a Li-Ion battery in 21700 format.
The Nitecore R40 V2 produces 1000 lumens and achieves a light range of 344 meters.
