The Swedish company Optimus has stood for reliable outdoor stoves and clever accessories for 125 years. Founded in Stockholm in 1899, Optimus has consistently set new technical standards throughout its long history.
To celebrate this anniversary, Optimus has released a limited edition of 1899 pieces of one of the most iconic stoves in the Optimus range, the NOVA Multifuel Expedition Stove. It comes in a specially designed, vintage-style tin box with a cardboard sleeve. The stove itself is laser-engraved and individually numbered.
The lightweight, compact NOVA can be used anywhere – in the high mountains as well as at the campsite. With just one nozzle, the NOVA sets standards for modern multifuel expedition stoves. It is also equipped with a patented, quick-ignition burner.
The aluminum pump with venting function automatically reduces the pressure in the fuel bottle when the stove is switched off. Thanks to precise flame control, the stove can be left unattended for some time while setting up camp. And if you're really far out in the wilderness, the multifuel option offers reliable flexibility in fuel choice; the NOVA can be used with kerosene, diesel, unleaded gasoline, white gas, and paraffin.
