Die wind- und wasserdichte Folie des Origin Outdoors Ultralite Bivy reflektiert 90% der Körperwärme. Sie ist stabiler als die Folie einer Rettungsdecke und durch die Sackform auch besser für ein Notbiwak geeignet. Der Ultralite Bivy sollte zu jedem Erste-Hilfe-Set gehören, um bei Bedarf entscheidende Hilfe zu bieten. Im Packsack aus Ripstop-Nylon hat noch etwas zusätzliche Notausrüstung - wie z. B. eine kleine Stirnlampe - Platz.
