The construction of the waterproof Outdoor Research Drycomp Ridge Sack is extremely simple. It is a 34 liter backpack made from waterproof 70 denier nylon fabric with a roll top closure and taped seams. There are simple shoulder straps with a chest buckle and a hip buckle, although these are more for load stability than weight transfer. The pack sack is equipped with bungee cords, a narrow mesh pocket and safety cords for up to two ice axes. The bottom of the pack sack is reinforced with durable 420D nylon.
