The TORD Hardshell Hoody LW from OUTRIDER Tactical® is designed as a classic 3-layer lightweight hardshell jacket and is highly versatile in this role, both as a lightweight standalone solution and in combination with other layers. The jacket is part of the Outrider Tactical layering system and is ideally combined with the TORD Windblock Fleece Jacket AR in cold weather.

During the jacket's design, special attention was paid to ensuring that access to the side pockets is guaranteed when using a plate carrier or chest rig, and that the zippers are not located under the plate. This minimizes bothersome pressure points.

The handwarmer pockets are sized to make optimal use of the available space at the front, allowing them to accommodate even large items. For quick access to smaller items, the jacket also features a classic upper arm pocket on each sleeve, which can also hold a smartphone.
The inner pocket features a headphone port for professional personnel still using wired headsets. The pocket can accommodate standard power banks, smartphones, and identification documents. For better organization, there are several loops for pens and other small items.
