The seal made of lead is suitable for perfectly sealing the pump base valve of all Petromax models. The lead seal should not be used on lights that run on gasoline. The Viton seal (83v) should be used for this.

Lead has the property of being plastically deformable. Therefore, the seal can simply be inserted in the appropriate place and screwed in tightly so that it is squeezed directly between the components.

It is recommended to replace the seal every time the respective screw connection is loosened.
