Be well prepared for days without electricity? The Petromax cool box allows you to take care of yourself on adventures lasting several days. The ultra-passive cooling system is operated solely with commercially available ice, cold packs or dry ice. Without a compressor or absorber, the double-walled and cavity-insulated cool box keeps ice cool for up to 12 days!

Unbeatable advantage: The interior is designed in such a way that with a volume of 50 l, for example, up to 70 x 0.33 l cans or 20 x 1 l bottles can be stored and transported upright. Freshly caught fish or provisions you bring with you also find their ideal storage place in your Petromax cool box.

Cooling system with format

The insulating layer of the Petromax cool box of at least 45 mm guarantees you the longest possible temperature resistance inside when used outdoors. But that's not all: the robust PE body is so stable that you can easily use the box as an elevated seat or stand. This allows you to easily cast your fishing rod or get an overview of your surroundings. In addition, thanks to its design with a clear edge, the cool box can be easily stacked and stored in the hold or below deck. Refilling ice and later cleaning the refrigerator compartment is made easier thanks to the integrated drainage system. This means you can drain meltwater at any time - especially during use. This way you can extend the cooling time depending on your needs.

Adventure-ready handling

The demands on reliable equipment are particularly high when cooking outdoors and in nature. In addition to the extremely long temperature stability, there are other functions that make the Petromax cool box suitable for adventures: Recesses on the lid allow it to be lashed crosswise. This allows you to store your cool box safely for transport on the deck of your boat or in the back of your pickup truck. The ergonomic carrying handles on the sides can also be used as belt guides, allowing you to open the bag when it is securely loaded. The non-slip rubber fasteners can be operated with one hand and you can keep a firm grip on them even with wet fingers. You can also protect your supplies from wild animals using reinforced locking plates and in combination with a standard U-lock. The four rubber feet on the bottom of the cool box ensure a firm stand and additional air circulation from below.
