The reflector concentrates the light from the Petromax petroleum lamp HK500/HK350 and reflects it downwards. This results in several advantages: If the lamp is installed in an elevated position, e.g. B. with the Petromax lamp holder, no light is lost upwards. This means that the lamp illuminates the larger area most effectively. If you look at the Petromax from above, the reflector umbrella acts as a glare protection. The Petromax top reflector is not just an extremely practical addition. It also gives the world-famous strong light lamp its characteristic appearance.
