The ATTACHE BAR from PETZL is a pear-shaped, unidirectional carabiner with a screw lock.

The pear-shaped ATTACHE carabiner is very versatile when used with the removable BAR. With the removable BAR, the carabiner becomes unidirectional, ensuring that the carabiner is loaded along its longitudinal axis. This increases comfort when belaying or roping up on a glacier.

Its H-profile reduces the weight of this carabiner and the area over which the rope runs has a round cross-section to facilitate securing with VERSO/REVERSO or with a half hitch.
