The Savotta Jäger L "Border Hunter" was created based on the Border Patrol backpack. The Grenzjäger is not your average trekking backpack - it is the tool for the demanding user who also needs to be able to rely on his equipment - when the going gets tough. The robustness of the original Border Patrol backpack was and is so highly praised by users that no changes were made to the basic structure of the backpack. The pack sack and carrying system have undergone such a redesign that it is difficult to see the connection to the Border Patrol.
The many detailed solutions and the extensive MOLLE system make the backpack a truly modular and versatile tool. Due to its slim shape, the backpack is ideal for skiing and hiking in challenging terrain. Thanks to the stable frame system, the well-padded shoulder straps and the fixed hip belt, the Grenzjäger is also very suitable for heavy loads. The stable carrying system ensures that the backpack keeps its shape and the load is optimally transported to the hips so as not to overload the shoulders. Even if the backpack is not completely packed or is poorly packed, the contents of the backpack can be optimally secured using the compression straps - so that the load sits close to the body and does not wobble around. The removable hip belt can be used as a full-fledged, modular battle belt. The extremely robust and abrasion-resistant 1000D Cordura material has a completely waterproof coating on the inside. Special ITW-Nexus buckles, which are also used by the Finnish military, allow use even at the lowest temperatures and under the toughest conditions without breaking. The MOLLE webbing is sewn so that each individual MOLLE loop can withstand a tensile load of at least 100 kg.
