The Silva Ranger compass is a simple compass used and appreciated by many users, including mountaineers, backpackers, and hunters. Silva Ranger compasses have all the necessary features you need for your adventures.
The Ranger is equipped with a grippy ring, a built-in declination scale, and a removable safety strap. It also offers map measurements in millimeters, at scales of 1:25,000 and 1:50,000. The baseplate has a curved shape at the rear for a perfect fit in the hand, and a magnifying lens. The clear arrow and scales/markings in easy-to-read lettering, combined with the high transparency of the baseplate, facilitate navigation. When activated in light, the luminous markings enable night navigation. The red/black north-south lines on the base of the capsule ensure easy and reliable placement. The needle is made of the finest Swedish steel.
