Snigel is an independent Swedish company run by a group of officers, designers, and engineers dedicated to improving the quality and functionality of personal gear for modern soldiers and law enforcement officers. It was founded in 1990 by PH, an Airborne Ranger, whose personal goal was to create the world's ultimate backpack, combat vest, and uniform. Guided by an uncompromising approach to function, quality, and comfort, he later earned an MFA in Industrial Design and began developing early versions of many of the carrying systems offered today. Snigel continues to be driven by passion. They design the products themselves and use them in the Swedish Army, where they are all part-time service members. Their experience, combined with the expertise of their customers, forms the basis for the continuous improvement of their products.
