The TacMed™ Solutions SOF® Tourniquet is a hemostasis tool that can effectively stop blood flow in arteries and veins. It offers an effective solution to control life-threatening bleeding.
SOF® tourniquets are made from the strongest materials. The SOF toggle is milled from a single piece of aluminum and thus prevents stability problems even under the highest loads. The wide binding band ensures effective binding and is easier for the patient to tolerate than narrow bands.
The SOF® tourniquets have proven themselves for over 20 years, are tested by the US Army Institute of Surgical Research and are recommended by the CoTCCC.

- The new compression band slides more easily through the closure clip and minimizes pressure loss during prolonged use
- Stable quick release, redesigned and now easier and quicker to handle
- Embroidered indicator indicating that the SOF has been applied at full power. Prevents putting on too easily, prevents errors
- Highly stable aluminum toggle that is non-slip and easy to handle. Made from one piece of aluminum
- The TRAC (Tourniquet Retention Assistance Clip) has been revised and made more stable. It allows the toggle to be temporarily secured when used with one hand
- Tri-ring lock for final securing of the toggle after the SOF has been installed. It can be operated safely with one hand and secures the gag when transporting patients
- Time indicator to document the installation time of the SOF, visible without being part of the tourniquet's securing mechanism
