Start your adventure! The Team Wendy Adventurer™ helmet features a fiberglass-reinforced polycarbonate shell designed for mounting lights and cameras. It includes a sporty chin strap system with a Fidlock® magnetic closure and a BOA® fit system for a precise fit.

The Adventurer™ helmet meets the impact absorption and penetration requirements of the BS EN 12492:2012 standard for mountaineering helmets, the performance requirements of the BS EN 1385:2012 standard for whitewater helmets, the blunt impact protection requirements (according to AR/PD 10-02 Rev A) and the off-crown impact absorption requirements according to (BS EN 14052:2012).

The Team Wendy Adventurer™ helmet was designed for those who don't shy away from adventure, but seek it out. Its modularity and scalability offer the user a wide range of performance capabilities, comparable to the proven Team Wendy® tactical helmet systems used by the military and law enforcement.

Helmet shell:

• High-cut shell with unique geometry for optimal fit
• Shell made of Lexan-polycarbonate copolymer
• Glass-reinforced polycarbonate bracket for mounting cameras and lamps
• Two removable ventilation covers

Helmet padding:

• Shock-absorbing high-performance padding for optimal fit
• Meets the shock absorption requirements of BS EN 12492:2012 and BS EN 1385:2012
• Meets ACH requirements for blunt multi-impact protection according to AR/PD10-02, 16Dec'13
• Comfort padding made of proprietary viscoelastic Zorbium® foam with water-repellent film and antimicrobial fabric cover

Carrying strap system:

• Sporty carrying strap system with FidLock® magnetic closure
• Integrated BOA® Fit System for optimized stability and fit
• Antimicrobial, moisture-regulating headband covers

Certifications:

• Meets the requirements of the BS EN 12492:2012 standard for mountaineering helmets.
• Meets the requirements of the BS EN 1385:2012 standard for whitewater helmets.
• Meets the requirements of the standard for high-performance industrial helmets BS EN 14052:2012 for impact outside the helmet crown.
• Meets the requirements for protection against blunt impacts (according to AR/PD 10-02 Rev A)
• NOTE: EN 14052 requires a low-strength chin strap; the ADVENTURER™ is not fully certified to BS EN 14052:2012 in order to meet the stricter chin strap requirements of BS EN 12492:2012 and reduce the risk of losing the helmet in a fall.
