Team Wendy EXFIL SAR Tactical Helmet with Rail High-Viz Green

The SAR Tactical™ is specifically designed for search and rescue operations, offering the ability to mount accessories while meeting key industrial and mountaineering performance standards.

The Team Wendy® EXFIL® SAR Tactical™ is based on the EXFIL® SAR Backcountry™ helmet. The differences are in the NVG/lamp holder and the chin strap fastener. The NVG/lamp holder on the SAR Tactical™ is made of machined aluminum, and the SAR Backcountry™ is made of polycarbonate. The chin strap fastener on the SAR Tactical™ has a quick-release buckle, and the SAR Backcountry™ has a FidLock® magnetic buckle.

The EXFIL® SAR Tactical™ comes standard with side rails, two Magpul® MOE® 5-slot Picatinny rails and two vent covers to prevent objects and debris from entering the helmet's crown vent.

Helmet shell:

• High-cut helmet shell with unique geometry for optimal fit
• Helmet shell made of Lexan polycarbonate copolymer
• Integrated mount made of machined aluminum (6061) with Type III hard anodizing, compatible with all standard NVG mounts
• SAR Accessory Rail rails including two Magpul® MOE® 5-Slot Picatinny Rails

Helmet padding:

• Shock-absorbing high-performance padding with two sets of comfort pads (thin and thick) for optimal fit
• Meets the shock absorption requirements of BS EN 12492:2012 and BS EN 1385:2012
• Meets ACH requirements for multiple impact blunt impact as per AR/PD10-02, 16Dec'13
• Comfort padding made from proprietary viscoelastic Zorbium® foam with water-repellent film and antimicrobial fabric cover

Carrying strap system:

• Integrated BOA® Fit System for optimized stability and fit with one-handed quick release
• MIL-DTL-32067 leather chin guard and cam lock slider for one-handed adjustment and secure fit
• Antimicrobial, moisture-regulating headband covers

Certifications:

• Meets the requirements of BS EN 12492:2012 for mountaineering helmets
• Meets the requirements of BS EN 1385:2012 for whitewater helmets
• Meets the additional requirements of the European standard for high performance industrial helmets BS EN 14052:2012 for impact outside the helmet crown
• NOTE: EN 14052 requires a low strength chin strap, the EXFIL® SAR is not fully certified to BS EN 14052:2012 to meet the more stringent chin strap requirements of BS EN 12492:2012 and reduce the risk of losing the helmet in a fall
• Meets Advanced Combat Helmet (ACH) requirements for blunt impact protection (according to AR/PD 10-02 Rev A)
