The Team Wendy ZAP™ Airborne Pad is designed to be worn in conjunction with the standard ZAP™ sets (7-Pad NSN and SOF configurations). It is placed in the neck area of the helmet during airborne operations to provide additional protection to the sensitive neck area of the skull by reducing the G peaks experienced during high-velocity impacts. The ZAP™ Airborne Pad weighs less than 10 grams.
