"The Panzergrenadier Troop is a branch of the Bundeswehr. The German Panzergrenadier Troop is one of the combat troops of the army and, together with the Panzertruppe, forms the Armored Troops group of troops. The main weapon system of the Panzergrenadier Troop is the Puma infantry fighting vehicle. The main task when mounted is to fight against enemy infantry and tank formations in the open Terrain, dismounted due to their equipment primarily against enemy infantry in partially covered terrain."

The PVC patch for the Panzergrenadier troops of the Bundeswehr shows the stylized branch insignia that this fighting force wears on its beret. The silver badge shows two crossed 98k carbines and an armored personnel carrier surrounded by an oak wreath, as well as the embedded German flag.
On the back of the 5 x 4cm patch in 3D contour there is a sewn hook and loop surface to attach the badge to any loop loop surface.
The special feature of the patch is the material used: This is a PVC with metallic particles in order to imitate the shimmering, shiny appearance of a metal beret badge as realistically as possible.
